the mellow weekend that stopped being mellow

This is another of those posts that's tardy because I've been too busy.

Friday: I hung pictures, some I've had for years and one that I just got from Iikka Keränen, and had the coven over. Much happiness. Who knew La Fashionista doesn't like crunchy legumes? I'll remember that the next time I get munchies.

Saturday: Got my bald bike tires and brake pads replaced. Got a tutorial on how to clean my chain without taking it off the bike. Slept the entire afternoon.

Gothed up, went to the Hill a little early, and walked all over the place. Ran into the Norwegian*, who's quite the entrepreneur, and told her about Clara the DIY sex toy. She was notably enthusiastic about offering help with a business plan, IP protection, research, marketing, etc. I've just reminded her. Oh, and I did hit the Mercury and got my social on. I also got my dirty old woman on with all the sweet young things in their short, fetish-y skirts. And then going out and seeing all the non-fetish short skirts. I love summer.

Today: Did Sunday stuff around the house, mailed a pic to Mom, and am now waiting to find out if I need to go across town for another corset fitting later this afternoon. I need sleep, but I'm getting done what I need to.

Edited to add: Oh yeah, a couple of hours of on-call excitement Sunday morning that started – when else – when I was on FM Bike.

*Remember her? She's at least two of my top five all time favorite makeouts. Unfortunately, I met her at a very bad time. Not to be confused with the Tickler, who's actually half Norwegian and looks it, or V the Ozzie nurse from Burning Man, who was born & raised in Norway.
