I think I geeked out in the least likely place imaginable: chez deliciouspear. There was a critical mass of techies. That house has a beautiful interior, back garden, and view to the east. As I partied with fellow freaks I thought, 'Her Nibs would really dig these trellises.'

The black dress with the feathers was well received. I'd build an altar to prncsmoonbeam, but you could argue that my closet already counts as one. Reason #537 to love Seattle: black velvet, June 18th, no meltdown.

At long last I'm going to Fry's for (go ahead, say it) Father's Day. I've been going over the shopping list in my head for weeks. Aw, yeah.

Are you "eh"ing Fry's? It's a huge electronics store in Renton; the chain started in San Jose. To call it an electronics store, though, doesn't do it justice. You can get an iPod there (as I did), or you can by all the parts and tools to build PCs and networks from scratch. Everything from tootsie rolls to books to major appliances.

If you're eh-ing the dress, you'll have to wait a while now that it's gotten warm. ;)
