(no subject)

Nibs and I have been going around and around, each of us changing our minds repeatedly about what my post-full time living arrangements are going to be. The constraints:

• She doesn't want to have to watch my body change.
• She wants me nearby because my son is his jumpenflappen self and she's gimpy.
• I'm more than ready for some space to call my own.
• Oh yeah, we're not rich.
• I do not want to sell the house because
  1. We've put too much money into it.
  2. The market isn't going to stop sucking for a while yet.
  3. The location's too good for all of us.
  4. Nibs loves it.

So here's Der Plan, hammered out with help from our Rad Dyke Marriage Counselor*: I get my own place near the (current) Abbey in about a year and live there for at least a year with an option to move back later. Fortunately, thanks to the recent refi I think we can swing this. There will be a spreadsheet in our future.

*OK, she's more of a regular dyke, but she's got the hair.
