Between my ribs and all the unpacking I needed to do, I didn't get around to bathing Her Puppiness until last night, two days later than scheduled. When I shut the bedroom door behind her and laughed maniacally as I often do, she did something she hasn't done in about ten years: she tried to squeeze herself into a corner of the room. Doing so is a lot harder for her now that she's old and stiff, but as it did back then it left me helpless with laughter. At least last night she didn't make me pick her up; she walked into the shower, tail between legs, once I led her into the bathroom by the collar.
