Assuming its the same thing, when I've had it done in a massage setting, it left some intense marks - something akin to having made out with an octopus.

Its an incredible sensation. If you aren't adverse to the marks, you should consider giving it a try. :) I believe the intensity can be pretty well controlled, since I know the suction can be partially released if I tell my practitioner that its too much.
