fun and "fun" at Lambert House
I went out for drinks with the Monday night Lambert House gang, as is our habit.
Me: If you want to destroy your self-esteem, go to an event with [the Siberian Siren] and watch her collect phone numbers.
L the Cute Redhead: You need uglier friends.
Speaking of Lambert House, I wrote a fairly serious bug for them that I need to fix. Too bad I'm already booked every night this week. I may be spending Friday night there. The director & IT guy don't seem to want to pay the cost of moving off of Access, at least not yet. Le sigh.
Last night for the second year in a row, a group of International Baccalaureate students from Victoria, BC sat in on the trans group. We did our usual group thing, a bit more chaotically than usual, and then took questions. Chief among them was how to be a good ally. Warm fuzzy feeling to the max.
ETA: At least one of the Lambert House Monday night gang has agreed to come to Bang for the Buck if I strip. Challenge accepted. I've come up with an idea for an act already.
