When the kid's away...
Due to scheduling and the distance between Seattle & Kirkland, I unexpectedly found myself kidless last night. I took that opportunity to go to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ionan's birthday shenanigans on 70th St. in Ballard. Who knew there was a cheap Mexican karaoke joint and a fantastic bakery tucked away in an otherwise residential area?
The birthday boy said he was impressed with my renditions of "Sodomy" and "Over at the Frankenstein Place". Somebody had to gay up the place.
Oh, and I told my best Burning Man stories, apparently in front of one pair of conservative ears. Oops.
Speaking of the Burn, it's sunny & warm today, which means it time to neutralize & clean up all the playa on my larger items of camping gear over at the old house in Kirkland. Soon there will be nothing visible of Burning Man 2014 but the map I've tacked up. *Sniffle!*
