mostly a good weekend
Got a very late dinner with the Tickler at No Anchor in Belltown. The chef is an evil genius. Thence to Ceremony at Re-bar, where much booty was shaken. Since when was there so much disco at Ceremony? Not that I or the Tickler are complaining, but the more puristic among you might. This morning: brunch at Noble Barton in White Center with the Tickler and three of her young relations, who are just getting started in the tech industry. I offered my jaundiced take on things and what information I could. Even if I'm not a rich techie ten Xer, I do know the industry and I know Seattle even better. I was happy to oblige.
The bummer: I'm pretty sure I left my driver's license at Re-bar. I went down there earlier this evening, only to find it closed when Apple said it wouldn't be. Some dude skeeved on me while I leaned against the bike rack deciding what to do, so I beat it for home. Hey, at least now my laundry is done and I've cooked next week's lunches.
