Nun decaffeinates, partly.

So until a few days ago, my usual workday caffeine habit was a cup of tea with breakfast, another when I got to work, and a third right after lunch. In my quest to sleep through the night, I cut out the second one.

It worked. Praise the universe, it worked! I've started sleeping over seven hours right up until my alarm goes off at 0600. O frabjous day!

On a perhaps related note, in my various clubbing peregrinations over the last year or so I've learned that three drinks equals a hangover now. Proper spacing and water consumption can mitigate it, but not eliminate it. So, no more than two naughty beverages in any 24-hour period for yours truly anymore.

I'm a little surprised it was the second that did the trick and not the third. The conventional wisdom I've always heard is that it's less about the total and more about when you last had it that affects your sleep. Maybe it's both?
