Wendling whees at waterfront

Took day off (no school, Nibbal appointments) and Metro'd downtown with the Wendling. Fulfilled longtime ambition and took him on the waterfront streetcar. He couldn't wait to get off it and literally run around the piers. The conductor said that was the first kid she'd seen who didn't like the trolley, and this is a kid with a thing for public transportation. Maybe he was jacked up on sugar from the dried mango he ate, but I seldom see him that manically happy.

Saw Robots. As good as Monsters Inc., maybe, but I think I'm burning out on CGI kids' movies.
