Meant to stop briefly at S&B on my way downtown and ended up glued to the couch. Darn you people for being social, or something.

Finally made it to a Moonday, if only for a little while. Mm, purty people being photographed. (Waves a gloved hand to vienna_le_rouge, onlyjanica & audiblecell.) I felt almost dowdy in my old-school finery next to the saran wrap and tape. Nice space -- the Phoenix -- and good music. It could stand a few more people, but I imagine that isn't easy to arrange on a Monday night. Lots of homeless guys walking around that block in the cold, but none of them hassled me. I'll go again, but probably not soon.

Do you feel sorry for DJs when they're spinning good music and nobody's dancing? I do.

Oh, poo. You mean you had artwork in there? I don't even remember seeing it. Where was it?

All over the front lobby area. Across from the bar/cafe area, on the brick wall going up the big staircase, at the top of the stairs, and by the pool table. Lots of it.

Nah, they wouldn't have removed it. I imagine it would be difficult to notice with people standing in front of it :)

Well, school nights aren't easy when you've got an eight-year-old, but as weeknights go, Moonday's definitely high on my list. I'll be at Cirque du Noc, and I hit the Merc & Vogue pretty often.
