restaurant: Mixtura; golden thrifting moment

Took Nibs on a V-Day (observed) date to Mixtura, a Peruvian place in Kirkland, if you can believe it. Thumbs up to the beef heart appetizer and quinoa risotto with mushrooms. Nibs was less satisfied with the chicken. A few small service issues, but I think it's worth a place near the bottom of my top ten.

Silent comedy: standing outside the Redmond Value Village, when one of the goths present told balzacq that his wife was about to buy a bright orange sweater. He was in there in a trice, and animated conversation that we couldn't hear ensued. theda gave us funny looks through the glass as we laid square eggs, probably believing us, correctly, to be too damn silly. For the record, she was buying it for meathelmet, whose taste for bright orange clothing is well known.
