crunch time

At what should have been the most important camp meeting of the year, only eight of the twenty-five of us showed up. We soldiered on, but we're going to have to conduct a lot of business over e-mail that would have been a lot faster and more precise to do face to face. At least some of the absentees were home cooking and vacuum-sealing meals, but jeez, guys, priorities. Tonight I'll be home packing and cutting big holes in trash can lids.

I'm supposed be feature complete for the next release in two days. Maybe I'll make it. I'm not currently panicking about it, though, oddly enough.

Aw: My sister's gone.
Yay: There's a lot more room at the Abbey now.

I swear, if I'm part of a theme camp, I'm to set up a conference bridge, so people can call in who "can't" make it to meetings.

One of the guys who was cooking is doing transpo and a couple of other things. You can bet your sweet booty we had him on speaker for about half an hour.
