Sometimes the truth astonishes.

I'd heard a rumor that my new employer's health insurance covers sex reassignment surgery & hormones. I didn't believe it until I verified it just now.

As an atheist who's married to an observant Jew, I try not to say "Oh my God", but I'm definitely thinking it right now.

Thats awesome! It completely delights me to know that some companies are liberal-ing up like that. I was happy when another friend's company covered a breast reduction surgery, but thats got nothin' on this, eh?

DUDE. Or rather, OPTION OF NOT-DUDE.

I presume that there's a lot more talking to be done on the Nibbal front before you can act on that, but WOW.

You have a gift for understatement, my good ferret.

Somehow I don't think there's a provision for it in Judaism.

Well, Nibs is Reform, but I don't think she's that Reform.

Does it ever!
You told me that you weren't interested in a sex change now.

I'm not planning one now. I never really lost interest.
