I got the hang of this Thanksgiving thing.
Yay: Thanksgiving dinner small enough (five people, no elders) not to kill me with the prep & cleanup.
Yay: The eats, especially Nibs' apple tatin, and H's tabouleh made at the Abbey.
Yay: Pumpkins, mint, and parsley grown at the Abbey.
Yay: Sun today.
Yay: EMP with boy.
Yay: Seeing grad school chums for the first time in two years and not being ashamed of where I work.
Yay: Boy behaving himself pretty well in a place where, as I feared, there wasn't much to keep him entertained.
Yay: Magnuson Park with boy, and showing him hangar 30 and the submarine fins.
Hunh. What do you know? Nothing to complain about.
Tomorrow night's plans: Church of Bass for a reunion of old-schoolers, and the Mercury to wish a certain spooky, domestic Burner a happy birthday (observed).
