I gave in to my urges and was social at Nerdvana to meet a MOOer visiting from a town far away: maribou, as she claims, does not have antlers, but she does have thousands of much shorter projections on her scalp.

Had a date with Her Nibs for the first time in many weeks, and it didn't suck. First outdoor dinner of the year. Ah. I'm still wondering if the acting in "The Man Without a Past" is so deadpan because director Aki Kaurismaki is a wise guy, or because Finns are not normal.

Time to sneak into Seattle and shop for Mother's Day presents.

Oog. On the 17th I already have about four things planned. vixyish is getting married on the 18th so lots of out-of-town friends will be here. The next time you do that, though, please let me know.
