Florida postscript: My mom can beat up your mom.

It just so happened that shot day was this past Monday, when I was in Florida. I took out my works and did a little show and tell with Mom. I then offered to disappear before I jabbed myself with the long, scary needle. Mom said no. That's right: she's the only person who's watched me inject myself. No squeamish women in my family. Afterward she said that nobody who saw that could doubt my determination to change sex. Heh.

One more thing: TSA searched my bag on the way back. I think it was because I got a gift of clothing that consists mostly of chains.
