Okay, if he didn't know how to use a can opener, how has he been feeding himself when you're not around to make something?

I'd laugh, but I can picture the horrible mess he's making... but, good for him for attempting it!

Budgetbytes! Most of her recipes need more spice, though, but they're solid, and a good way to learn basic cooking techniques. For more advanced learning, I'd recommend Chef John at Food Wishes. (His gyro mystery meat is great...I do it in a crock pot, though.)

Bug was in the kitchen at three. I couldn't keep her out. Does she cook now? Wouldn't be caught dead doing it. At least she knows how.

Has he caught the cooking bug or to soon to tell? It blows my mind that he didn't know how to use a can opener. Granted, environmentally, that's survival skills here. Hopefully, he'll get it.
