Irresponsible parental act #7541...

...is watching season 1, episode 1 of Star Trek on Netflix with my son, starting after his bedtime. I'm not sure he'll want to watch any more and Nibs was scandalized, but I have no regrets. I was grinning all the way through. One should share the things one loves with one's children, as long as they're not R-rated.
