first up against the wall when the revolution comes

Uh, I'm apparently going to Spain with my mom after all. The guy running the tour has space for me to arrive five days later than everyone else. Madrid, Bilbao, Barcelona for me. Got my passport in order and everything.

Um. Holy crap! I can't quite believe it. It's a group tour focusing on art - that's how Mom rolls - but we'll have some time to ourselves, especially in Barcelona. Suggestions?
I spent the afternoon playing miniature golf with cow-orkers at a morale event. I didn't suck, possibly because I drank an oil can of Foster's first.
In case anybody's worried, my boy slept last night. He's no longer doing an autofreakout.
Nun plan: a fundraiser for the yoga floor at the Church of Bass. I have reason to believe I'll like this better than Ott. I must have groove!

Yay! I'm really glad you get to for it; at least most of it. I would so love a tour focused on art.

Wow let us know about Barcelona as we'll be heading there ourselves this year.

Art in Barcelona--I am officially green with envy.

Oh Wow! Spain!

Suggestion #1: Do not leave a wallet in any outer or exposed pocket. Pickpockets are rampant - every person I met in Madrid who had visited Barcelona had their wallets stolen.

Suggest #2: Royal Gardens in Madrid. I'd imagine they'll be on the tour, but you definitely want to wander around. And near the Paseo, between that and the gardens, is an open used book market, which is breathtaking.
