Well, it was pretty low-key entertaining: I invited the other two members of the coven over to share the champagne that my agent gave me. But I did dress up a little and clean the house, so it counts.
It was too late for Uneeda Burger when we were all ready to eat, so we hit Le Coin. Yes, again. Je ne regrette rien. The grilled octopus was amazing. It makes a certain amount of sense that Tacoma Girl is an oyster connoisseur; the south end of Puget Sound is where they grow oysters around here.
I wouldn’t mind doing that again. And again. I love having people over, and I finally have a space I’m proud of. I should even have enough furniture by tomorrow night.
