On the way home last night I saw not one but two cars that had spun off the freeway, presumably because they'd lost control in the cloudbursts. (For folks outside the Seattle area, that sort of rain isn't too common here, unlike days-long drizzle.) I'm reminded of what John Kiester once said about people around here: unable to drive in any kind of weather.
And speaking of cloudbursts, there was one here at the Abbey with small hail to greet the pizza delivery lady. You can't help but feel sorry for her.
