escape from the Abbey
Jul. 4th, 2005 09:17 amDid a reasonable job of packing fun into two hours and fifteen minutes. (Why so short? Because everyone wanted a piece of me.) Saw people I don't often get to see -- yay holiday Mondays -- at the Vogue, including but not limited to
seedmoon,
imp_of_satan, and
thevfrchick.
Got my dance on at Re-bar, which was, predictably, sardine city. If anything the percentage of gay men there was even higher than I've seen before. In a fine example of cruising on my transness, the door dude waved me in without cover because of how I was dressed. Hey, I offered to pay. Was hoping to meet Kim Dietemann, but even if she was there I didn't have a chance in hell of finding her.
Warm fuzzy for the evening: pulling bobby pins out of my hair that I didn't put there.
