future fun and not fun

Ramiro strikes again. I think I'm in danger of finding a third Usual Haunt near the other two. Aw, man. So many places to go, so little time. And to think I had the opposite problem not so long ago.

Her Puppiness is having trouble sleeping at night, probably because of a chronically sore shoulder. Her cataracts are bad enough now that she walked into a closed pet door the other night. The latter is fixable, but I'm afraid the former might not be. I can't say I didn't see it coming, though: she's more than twelve years old and it seems that every day I find new white hairs on her. She still wants to run with me.
