I went home early because I misread my cell phone clock, and by the time I figured that out I'd already cleaned off my car and gotten in. When I end up with extra time before curfew I drive around to my favorite places. Re-bar? People on the sidewalk as usual, smoking as snow fell on them. I find that comforting.
