meet the teacher

I met my son's homeroom (or, as they call it at his school, "support group"!) teacher today. I like her. She seems a lot sharper & more committed than his last two, which is a tremendous relief to me. I'm hoping I'll see my boy excited about school for the first time in three years. He'll be with her for the next three years, which is good because m'boy can take some getting used to.
