Nov. 29th, 2009 10:06 pmJust replaced the two dimmer switches that Nibsdad installed with regular toggle switches, which were a precondition for putting compact fluorescent lights in the last sockets in the Abbey that had incandescents. M'boy complained that his new light switch is upside down, natch, but that's easily fixed - mañana, because he's in bed now. I had a teachable moment with him about why I was messing with the switches & light bulbs; I'm surprised he didn't know about CFLs.
Replaced torn weather stripping around the pet door, too. Hint: alcohol removes the adhesive that weather stripping may leave behind.
