I'm back at work, fighting the usual series of annoyances. Oddly, I don't want to go back on vacation, but I wouldn't mind if my regular life were a little easier.
My son took his last test for driver's ed - not the state test - and didn't pass, although the teacher said he was "much improved". Le sigh. He needs more regular practice, like the kind we did last night where my gasping and grabbing the door handles prevented him from backing into the neighbors' car.
Part of what distracted him last night is that he still needs to get an intuitive feel for which way to turn the wheel when he's reversing. I'm sure it doesn't help that he is, as
kathrynt describes herself, ambi-sinister. The left-handed
rigel_p also reported having difficulties like m'boy's. Don't tell the insurance companies or they'll jack up the rates for all you southpaw mutants.
