boring happiness, exciting times to come

Well, not complete happiness: I seem to have a swollen lymph node in my neck. If I'm going to get the Plague, tomorrow afternoon would be a convenient time.

Shortly after I scheduled date #5 with Temptress I bopped over to the old place for the usual dinner with m'boy. Aspiring Ex took that opportunity to invite Temptress (!) and her hubby (!!) to her 50th birthday party, which will be happening on the 14th at the old place. Temptress has accepted, meaning she gets to meet AX, my son, and probably a gazillion family friends.

Mental note: Ask Temptress what her Pride plans are the next time I see her.

New projects!

A few years ago I listed the following projects:

#1 - new job
#2 - new place to live in Seattle
#3 - girlfriend partner

Well, now that I'm done with those, it's time for a new list:

#4 - Splitsville! I promised Aspiring Ex I wouldn't file for divorce until my son turns 18. That's in less than 13 months.
#5 - Get m'boy into college. And yes, I definitely count community college here.
#6 - Circumflatulation or maybe world domination. So many possibilities, and completion of projects #4 and #5 should help.
