Had a lovely dinner date with Temptress at Hecho, the Mexican place just up the ridge from my lake place. They have a patio, which was perfect. She approved of my Burning Man packing list, which is an excellent way to charm a girl. A girl like me, anyway. Pro tip: schedule dates right after you get your legs waxed. Ahem.

Speaking of Burning Man, I'll be on the road in under four days and not a minute too soon. I spent an inordinate amount of time yesterday replacing my rear wiper blade. I'm going to need it when my car gets covered with dust, and I don't want to give the cops an excuse to pull me over. Tonight: pack like a packing thing.
