Feb. 14th, 2018 12:55 pmI got misgendered, but not maliciously, by a convenience store clerk yesterday morning. Fuck that. I made an appointment for a consult for facial feminization surgery. It won't happen until next month, which is fine with me. I'd prefer to be done and healed up by Burning Man, which is in six months. I think it's doable.
Mom has expressed dismay about this in the past, natch, but Mom isn't getting misgendered, nor is she paying the bill.
Bad: February insomnia has returned. Dammit! Spring & summer in Seattle are gorgeous and all that, but this is the month when I pay for it: thermoregulation is a serious issue.
Good: Dinner with Funny Lady tonight at Shiro's. We have to get in line for a table at the hour of the geezer because we decided this at too short notice for a reservation. That's how Funny Lady rolls, and I'm OK with that. After Saturday night's party, we have things to talk about.
