my life right now: prednisone, Percocet, and pie

Bad: I just started prednisone as prescribed by Dr. Faceknife on Wednesday. He didn't like the look of my drain output so he figured I needed something more to help with the swelling. I'm not psycho yet, but it's only been half an hour. (I didn't start last night because the pharmacist warned me about insomnia.) It feels like too much coffee. It'll be interesting to see if Percocet can still knock me out when prednisone is shimmying up my veins.

Good: Funny Lady came by my lake place like a whirlwind to drop off two little quiches, one tiny cheesecake, a pair of footies socks, and a bath bomb. ♥! And she organized others to do so today & tomorrow. That was really sweet of her, and I didn't expect it. Since I'm three blocks from PCC, I didn't desperately need a soup brigade, but still, it's nice to have visitors.

Meh: This whole surgical recovering isn't painful, but it's going to be time-consuming.
