Every year or so since I moved into the Devil Girl Pad eight years ago, I've needed to scrub the mildew off the window frames. It's even gone after my shoes and a few other things in the apartment. It took being shut in here twenty-three hours a day to make me think about fixing that. I now have a little dehumidifier running in my bedroom, and sure enough, the usual film of condensation on the bedroom window was absent this morning. That, and I can see a couple of ounces or so of water in the dehumidifier's tank. Why didn't I think of this sooner?
