cupcake_goth for a visit, with bonus kitty petting. This is high on my list of favorite things to do. We talked about friends and ex-friends, and afterward I did some mental tallying. What was I tallying? The number of women with trash male partners at some point and the number of actual trash women who came up as we talked.
Both of those numbers were positive even in my small sample, but I don't have to tell you which number was larger: the first one. We need to stop putting up with it. We need to teach young women to spot and avoid trash early, as did the Lady of the Manners herself. Above all we need to teach young men not to be trash, and that starts with me. Not that the Wendling is in imminent danger of speaking to women his own age outside a work context, but surely he will be someday.
