dildo und Deutschland

On a more mundane note, I arranged a brief chat with the gorgeous and charming Shiny H about that trip to the Treffen festival in Leipzig that she invited me to. Said she, her plans have been complicated by the withdrawal of a benefactor. She said that we might have to – horrors! – just meet up in Hamburg or Leipzig.
'"Benefactor"?' I thought. 'What kind of people is this girl running with?' I think we all know the answer to that question, though: rich ones, the sort who, as H has said, will pay her a surprising amount of money to look pretty.
I told her that I had assumed that we'd be meeting up near our destination anyway. After hearing of the complications I pleaded for simplification: "I've got an absinthe and a gimlet in me. What do you need from me?"
"Patience."
"I've got that."
She described some of the action she'd seen at Treffen. She made it sound like the Folsom Street Fair on steroids, as I said at the time. And as you may recall, Folsom is my happy place. So, I have an experienced and motivated young woman planning what could be the time of my life, which is saying a lot at this point. But she's facing difficulties, so I shouldn't get my hopes up too much. Time to cultivate some zen like I cultivate my African violets.
