I sent my mind to San Francisco.

I leave for the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco in eight days. I think I'm more than a little psyched. I'll be staying in a hotel (not AirBnB!) around the corner from Civic Center BART. I'll be within two blocks of Wicked Grounds, the naughty coffee joint, which puts me within two blocks of the Cat Club and Folsom Street itself. Aw to the yeah.

Time to plan which outfits and (ahem) implements to pack. Given the proximity of everything, I don't need to worry too much about weight.

Edited to add: I'm flying into OAK and not SFO because SFO is a) close to the Pacific and therefore gets a lot of wind, and b) old and therefore has runways too close together to accommodate modern jumbo jets in strong winds. It suffers from frequent weather-induced closures. And where I'm staying is about equidistant from those two airports on BART.
