Staying in the hotel where Reagan was shot. I'm reminded that D.C. is proof that formality in fashion doesn't make it glamorous. Took Wendling on Metro to Brunette Sister's house; boy was thrilled except for the noise level. Had gabfest while little cousins played in azalea-lined back yard in perfect weather. Four years is too long.
