We interrupt this transsexual squeeing to tell you about the a deployment from hell. This one's got it all: disks running out of space, disk failures, unplanned multi-day data migrations, hacking scripts in a build, platform surprises due to unique hardware, broken prerequisites, people taking dependencies on us who didn't bother to tell us, and an original four-day schedule stretched to fourteen. Those of us who can have started working in shifts; I took last night, and my good twin takes tonight. We're getting it done, but it's pretty traumatic.
