Nobody was nasty to either me or Her Nibs. My middle sister expressed regret at not coming down. (Nyeh heh heh!) And, most importantly, Mom only had two lymph nodes removed and they looked OK under a microscope. (We await confirmation from lab work.)
I didn't really get a chance to tell my eldest sister about all the perviness and marital vicissitudes in my life; either her little daughter or her husband were around most of the time and they're not cleared. I didn't clue my mother in because a) she didn't ask and b) the poor woman got cut open midway through my stay and was subsequently stoned and in need of rest. Am I a weasel? Maybe, but I figure that my first priority ought to be fence-mending.
Otherwise, the trip was delightful: perfect weather for wearing shorts, going to craft fairs with Mom (my hometown now has a good one -- quelle surprise), catching up with people, partying with my sister's freak friends, and reading "Neverwhere". I want Serpentine's clothes.
Oh by the way: nothing will get you adjusted to the spring time change like going from the west coast to the east coast for a week.
