it has always been my experience that younger people are more prone to doing things because no one has ever told them that such behaviors are not OKAY. Pretty people are even less likely to have these things pointed out.
I would say it is highly likely she simply doesn't know that such behaviors are considered rude, or why. I have made it a habit, for most of my life, when such faux pas occur to pull the person in question aside and have a private word to merely explain that these sorts of behaviors make the other people involved feel undervalued, and that if this is not her intention, she needs to be more on top of her own behaviors.
