Pupdate: the tumor on her ear was stage 1 of 5, so no chemo is needed. It looks like the surgery will be the end of this particular incident. The moral of this story is to pet your dog often and all over.
I've been surrounded by cranky people and flirting with blue funk lately, so I decided to fight back by shaking booty last night. Happiness is being laced up good & tight by large, strong men and then getting your weekly allowance of eye candy and chatting, even (OK, especially) with big meanies. Yeah, I talk about my nights out a lot, and maybe it does get repetitive, but I think they mean more to me than they do to most people. Minor annoyance: getting a knot in the lace of the Blue Confection on the way out, thereby delaying night-night time. Next time I should ask the Nibbal unit to untie me.
Discovery of the week: salted plums are tasty, somewhat to my surprise. Happy Chinese New Year.
