I haven't posted in a few days because I've been either partying or battling my stupid cold.
This year's costume: I slummed it, sort of. To go with the crown that I got in San Francisco, I wore the red Renaissance gown that I made for my Lucrezia Borgia outfit back in '01. I bought a new chemise because I didn't like the one I made. It's the gown featured in the user pic here.
One thing worth noting about that gown is that back when I made it, I didn't have breasts. These days I'm a 38C, so it was a little tight in the chest.
I wore it to work on Friday; I never blow off the office Halloween party. I made it to the lovely house of a certain Elder Goth couple on Saturday night, but not as early as I would have liked because the downtown light rail was closed for construction. That's right: I had to get from the north end to the south end to get my car, then go back to the south end where the party was.
Thence to the Opulent Temple with J&R - neither of my ladies could make it, so I gave J&R a ticket - for some Burner Halloween action. It was all very lovely, but the virus in me wouldn't left me pretty pooped after midnight.
Yesterday? Taking care of business. Recuperating.
