I got word via US mail today that Cigna's online pharmacy no longer carries my hormones and I should take my prescription to an in-network retail pharmacy. What makes this weird is that the snail mail is dated March 31, but the email I got saying that my order was being processed was dated April Fool's Day. (Ha!) So I called to get the lowdown, and sure enough, the snail told the truth.
So I've pinged Dr. Gaydude online, and he's sent the script over with impressive speed, for which I'm deeply grateful. The last dose I have, if I have enough for one more dose, is this Friday. I started this rigmarole on March 12. Cigna's online pharmacy was always a fountain of failure. It'll be a relief to be rid of the suspense, even if it likely costs more.
It's occurred to me that quarantine life isn't much different from immediately before. Not much physical contact with other humans, the Tickler's occasional delightful presence notwithstanding. Business to take care of for myself, my son, and Lambert House. My recreational activities happen in my apartment and I'm wearing more gear, but aside from that, it's not too different.
