sistawendy: me in a Gorey vamp costume looking up (skeptic coy Gorey tilted down)

The good news: Lady Di the DIY no longer hurts to use. I seem to have the correct motion down, which is back and forth, not in & out. It's funny how I never really thought about what I was doing with my hand as long as it worked.

The bad news: Still no yahtzee, as close as I came. I have an unpleasant hunch that I may need a material at least as rigid as human bone, i.e. the knuckles at the base of my fingers, for clitoral stimulation.

It would be more ergonomic if the clitoral stimulator and the handle were one solid piece instead of two projections from a central joint. (The insertion part is the third projection.) But is that reason enough to make a whole new prototype? I'm not convinced yet.

As I sit here typing, it occurs to me that I've left the clitoral stimulator in pretty much the shape of the piece of 1" square dowel that I molded it from. If I were to use my Xacto knife to remove some material leaving a bump at the anterior end of the clitoral stimulator, it might – just might – mimic the action of my knuckle. In for a penny...
