I took the bus with the Wendling down to the Frye Art Museum to see the Mark Ryden exhibit. Yow! The museum is much bigger than I expected, and the Ryden exhibit itself knocked my socks off. The lampoonish figures, mysterious repeated graffiti motifs, pastel colors, and mutilated and dead bits all suggest a sort of Alice In Wonderland meets Bosch meets performance art meets schizophrenia. It pinned the needle on my gothometer. I want to track down Ryden and ask him who Lyubov is. Y'all go.

"So, Wendling, which do you like better, the art or the bus trip?"
"I like them both."
Nibbal health: she's been informed that there's been a manufacturing problem with injectable methotrexate, so if I can't track some down (she has to work today), she'll have to go back to the stomach-shredding oral stuff. Patients from Oregon are already calling pharmacies up here.
Update: Pharmacies checked: 5. Pharmacies with more than one week's dose: 1. Vials snarfed: 2. Whew.
