even more (g)raving

Went on down to that thing down by the West Seattle bridge. Here's the review.

Music: thumbs up from me, mostly. The main floor was trance, reminiscent of a mix creatrix777 once gave me. (Mental note: find out what she's up to.) Murphy's Law, however, dictated that my beloved house and drum & bass would be in a much smaller, unventilated room. Right tunes, wrong temperature.

People: friendly almost to a fault, kind of like my dog. This probably springs partly from the same (ahem) source as the waving of glowsticks in the face (a "lightshow") and the pacifier sucking, namely E. Wearing the only corset & cameo in a room of several hundred doesn't hurt for starting conversations, either. And, well, maybe some of them don't suck.

Clothes: more interesting than usual for ravers. Dare I say that some of them actually looked good?

It's odd to go to a place with a respectably populated dance floor where not only is there no line at the bar, but it's so slow that the bartender has moved on to other chores.

Question for discussion: Is SoDo the next Belltown? The rents do seem to be low enough for now.
