Once again this year I have a half share of Moonshadow Farm, a CSA. They do several events a year to show people, especially kids, that food doesn't magically appear. Today's was pulling honey. I'm not a big fan of honey to start with, and I'm hardly a foodie, but honey right out of the hive is a fine, fine, sweet, and fruity thing. So's homemade mead; it's what a wine cooler wants to be. Nobody got stung, and we mostly prevented the Wendling from afflicting the animals.
