Nibs' accountant told us today that he won't be able to tell us our refund amount until April, so we're still facing enough of a cash crunch that the Vampire Ball in Portland isn't going to happen for me this year. (Neither will OMSI happen for my son this month.) Nibs was apologetic about getting the taxes in later than usual this year. I'm not mad, but I am bummed. It's looking like Blacklight & Re-bar on Friday for me.
And now for something different and wacky. My mother is a docent at the Big Art Museum for her town. I mentioned to her that I'd been to SEAF, and I told her about the tribulations SEAF went through while trying to get their catalog printed. Now my mother wants a SEAF catalog. This is either really good or really bad. Dutiful child that I am, I'll get her one as soon as I can.
