( This is a little TMI even by my high standards. )

Bottom line: I don't think the pain is going to keep me from getting enough zap done on my bits before surgery. Time might, though.

My first M's day

My son no longer calls me Dad or his father. I insisted that he not use my name, so now I'm M to him. My first M's Day card from him, hand drawn on a piece of construction paper, featured the pet name that Nibs used to use for me and the glyph that I made up for it. OK. So here's the text:

Dear M,
I know it was hard for you to make this transition but mom [sic] and I will always be there to support you. Happy Father's day. Love [Wendling]
