A good problem to have.

Because of Natasha's wedding I ended up scheduling electrolysis appointments on two consecutive weekends. In the past it would have been no big deal, but I've had so much hair permanently removed that I'm now worried that I won't have enough hair on my face, neck, chest, and nipples combined to fill up my scheduled five-hour appointment this coming Sunday.

This is a good problem to have.

I shaved my neck yesterday morning, but it looks as if that'll have to be it for the week. I haven't gone that long without shaving my face since I was a teenager. (It's sunny in Seattle, though, so lots of leg shaving will still happen.)

delivered today: happiness in material form

My usual bike ride this morning went, instead of around Green Lake twice, to the Wallingford post office, where I picked up my Burning Man ticket and vehicle pass. That's two very important X's in cells in my Playa Prep Spreadsheet of Doom.

And then, by entering the bathroom, I made the UPS man come. And he had with him a pair of size 11 black Fluevog Radio KCRW boots. They're tall. They have laces. They have side zippers. They're so pretty I wore them to work, even though it's supposed to get up to 84° F (29 C) today.
